Course Details
This course is designed for staff to maintain their skills and competencies when dealing with:
- Fire Training
- Safeguarding children
- Antenatal screening update
- Mental health
- Breast feeding
- Mentorship
Advice for mentors on how to remain compliant and active on the PLSS mentor database. Update of the role of the mentor and how to support students in practice.
All training is to comply with legal requirements and to meet the standards required by the NHS Litigation Authority.

Expected Learning Outcomes
- Gain underpinning knowledge in all subjects
- Be aware of the current antenatal screening to offer women and allow them to make informed choices.
- Be able to follow the pathway and get help/treatment for women with mental health issues
