This program is for all new HCSW on joining the Countess of Chester Hospital Foundation Trust (including student nurses in year 1 and some in year 2 who have been accepted to work under temporary staffing, 3rd year students need not attend).

Professional responsibility and professional accountability. Provides an overview of the quality agenda within the trust and the trust values expected of all employees.
Introduces approaches and issues involved in health care delivery.

Expected Learning Outcomes
- That all Nursing assistants new to the Trust are aware of local policies and procedures and what is expected of them during their employment
- To become aware of the support available to new starters of the support available through the education team and nurse specialists
