Course Details

For all new staff employed by the hospital on a permanent or temporary basis; Locum/Agency Staff and those working on site but not directly employed by the Trust – including volunteers.


The only exceptions to this are:


  • An individual who has attended a Trust Corporate Induction within the last two years
  • Locum/Agency Staff and those working on site but not directly employed by the Trust for whom separate arrangements apply (see Deployment of Temporary staff Operational Policy)

The course is designed to welcome you to the Trust and introduce you to our aims, values and objectives. It will also provide you with the compulsory training required to comply with legal requirements and the external standards required by the NHS Litigation Authority.
